Meet Dr. Trinidad

Dr. Trinidad is a board-certified vascular surgeon currently practicing with Northwest Texas Physician Group in Amarillo, Texas. Dr. Trinidad started the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery program at Northwest Texas Hospital, where he is currently the service line director. He is also a clinical assistant Professor with Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Prior to returning to Texas, Dr. Trinidad studied at Creighton University School of Medicine. From there, he went to the University of Arizona in Tuscon, where he completed his surgery and vascular surgery training.

Dr. Trinidad is knowledgeable in all facets of vascular and endovascular surgery. His practice emphasizes the complex care of peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, and carotid artery surgery. In Arizona he was a part of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA), which was the first comprehensive limb salvage center in the United States.

Dr. Trinidad has presented and published locally and nationally on various topics within vascular and endovascular surgery. He is active in multiple national societies, including the Society of Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and the Texas Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Trinidad was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University and is an avid Spurs fan.
